Truck Shopping

Well today Tyler, Ty & myself set out to look for Ty something to drive. Hard to believe he will be 16 soon ! Tyler & I had already made plans to meet some people today & Ty didn't know. Ty didn't have to work today & Granny took the Lil boys to Ft. Fisher & he kept asking what we were doing, so ended up telling him & he came along. Our first meet was a 4-runner. The ad said good condition & looked OK in pics. Well the dude shows up & I'm like OK, I see some things but I'll  get out & look. When I looked in, the front the middle console was tore up & I said to myself , OK that can be fixed , then notice a seat cover on the drives seat. Tyler pulled it up & it was in shreds. I was done after that , but I made myself continue to look around, & it didn't get better , Toyota emblem gone off back , trunk handle rusted , paint was horrible, carpet riped up in back & back seat floor. I calmly got in the car & started looking on the Ipad . So Tyler & Ty get back in & I'm ready for us to start laughing & start picking this POS apart, but NO ! Ty is like, "I like it" & pumped up & Tyler convincing me those many things can be fixed! I was like , Hello! , did neither one of you seem to notice that the car looked like a bear had got in there & tore the car all to hell ! I'm just sitting there like you can't be serious ! But they were! Then I'm being told I'm ridiculous ! Really ???  I wanted to tell the dude , he needed to put Poor condition on the ad.  We left , & spent 6 hours looking . Ended up in Myrtle Beach only to find the car had been moved. And yes for the same price of the first one, clean & nice ! The people will be getting back to us on that one. So home we headed & had one more to look at &the guy was coming to our house, & it was getting dark so I was starting to wonder? I always ask Tyler to ask if the cars are smoked in because that is a Big thing for me, but he doesn't. So its dark & this dude shows up. Well Tyler said let me get a flashlight  but I didn't need one, I had seen a plenty ! Sitting right there in the cup holder, a pack of Camels ! I was done & in the house I went ! When I got in the house Tyler's phone going off from the first guy this morning. He had texted , 5000 cash . I wanted to text back, how a bout a dollar, but I laid it down & let Tyler handle it. I mean he must think we're some kinda of idiots if he think I would even consider 5K for that tore up thing ! We've got another one to look at & this time Tyler asked if the car had been smoked in. We have till April & I am a firm believer in we will find exactly what we want if we will just be patient & let it come around. I think Tyler & Ty would like for me to stay out of it but there is no way I am because they would come home with something that looked like the first thing we saw ! I know its out there, I just have to convince them of that too !
