Another year has came & gone. Looking back over this year we've had a lot of milestones, good times & some bad times as well. Ty turned sixteen & still to this day I worry every time he drives off. I turned 40 , which is not so bad at all & Cameron turned 10, double digits! We have taken some great trips & will never forget the look on Cameron's face as we stepped in that water with the dolphin at Discovery Cove. We had a great time with Granny & James. James conquered his fear of the deep water as well. Great trip to Atlanta to spend time with Cammie & Kim. And the worst feeling ever as a Mother when that subway took off with my child standing on the dock! (Tearing up now!!!) Tyler & myself had a wonderful trip to the Keys & Miami to celebrate my 40th. Myrtle Beach with Granny & family. Went to the fair. Cameron's first plane ride. Another school year came to an end. Sold our boat , got a new one. The boys were given a boat by our sweet neighbors! Got a paddle board. Ty has had not 1 but 3 cars & 2 tickets! Cameron gave us a scare with his appendix & will never forget that feeling of them wheeling my baby away from me to take him in surgery. Matthews cancer, Deweys bypass, Robin's cancer. September, my sweet grandma died & I miss her. Maggie's tonsils. We added on a screened in porch to our house. Planted a garden & ate out of it . Cooked my first Thanksgiving meal on my own. Tylers BIG promotion. The good times with our friends. And this blog .... I have blogged everyday for a year ! Looking back over this year, I can truly say I am blessed beyond all measure. I am thankful for the good & the bad & grateful for all the milestones we have had. Blessed for sure! All good things must come to an end & this is the end for Life in the Fishpoole. Happy New Year ! 

Tyler has been wanting a griddle for a couple of years & he finally got one & he's cooked on it everyday since he got it for Christmas. Thanks Matt & Toni. He's a happy man !

Christmas Day. We got up about 8am. I have to admit, it was a little different with Santa this year. Wrote the boys a note that they had to read before they opened anything. They seemed to be appreciative of what they got.

Ate breakfast then headed to Garner to be with the Poole's. Busy day for sure. First stop, Mary & Dewey's. Had a good time. Enjoy being with everyone but it's also nice for it to just be us.  Then off to Tyler's Grandmas. Was good to see everyone there as well. Ma-Ma has always has always been a special person to me & I enjoy getting to sit & talk with her. I don't know why I didn't take any pictures & wishing I had now, just wasn't thinking I guess...sorry. Off to Tyler's Mom's with the rest of the family. We have a good time when were all together & Matthew never lets us down with the mess he cracks us up over. The kids were good & the lil ones kept us entertained, especially miss sassy britches, I think it's funny too ! We had a Great Christmas & we truly are blessed.

Piner's Christmas. As always never a dull moment... Frying tacos, smelling like grease, hot as hell, loud, someone farting, The Grinch being present & yelling tacos getting cold & banging pots in the sink, while my Dad prayed for my sister, Kim being the peace keeper only to see The Grinch's ugliest side, everyone wanting to beat The Grinch's ass, breaking up arguments, over eating, no one paying attention, did I mention LOUD, grumbling over having to take pictures, chaos .... Yep that's us & I wouldn't have it any other way ! I Love You all !!!!

What a wet, stormy day ! Had a mammogram & chest X-ray done this morning. Had heard all kinds of horror stories about the mammogram. I wasn't uncomfortable & it didn't hurt me at all. Now it's sit & wait for the results. Fingers crossed. If you want to get in & out of a Dr's office schedule your appointments the day after Christmas. No wait & we were in & out. We even did some returns today & that's wasn't bad either. I'll get back to posting more Christmas tomorrow.

Another Christmas has came & gone. Honestly I'm glad. You work so hard, get stressed, wear yourself out & then with in minutes all your hard work is over. We have said for the past 2 years we would take a trip over Christmas & now that the boys are old enough, we may very well do it. Don't get me wrong I enjoy the family time & very grateful for the time we spend together. I love my family & my n laws , ALL of you , but a little tropical place somewhere would be nice, just saying...  We had a good Christmas morning, I think my boys are pleased. I'll post more over the next couple of days. Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve! Can't believe it! We were busy today. We went & delivered our gifts to our lil family we adopted. They were so grateful & the lil boy loved Cameron.

Next up Christmas at my parents. Ate our traditional Christmas tacos. More pics to come.

Spent the morning with my friend El at the urgent care. She thought she was on the last step last night & fell. After her X-ray she had indeed broke one of the bones in the top of her foot.

Finished up some last minute shopping & dinner with Cammie, Kim & JoAnne. Home wrapped up stuff & now watching The Grinch !

We've had a busy few days . Yesterday Cameron went with me shopping All day & for being so good & not complaining, I let him get in the snow globe at the mall. What a cute idea !

Home we went & wrapping to be done. Thankful for Tyler's help.

Today we had some shopping to do with Cammie & Kim. Tyler drove me around to finish a few things & then we went to Robins to wrap her presents. Tyler wrapped & I boxed & tied bows. Robin had a rough day & night but she managed to sit up & write the tags today. Her Nuelasta shot which she calls the bone crusher was giving Friday & it just hurts her all over . Headache & nausea to goes with it. I know she felt bad but was proud of her getting up & pushing thru a little . Please continue to keep her in your prayers.

Another busy day ! Had Cameron's class Christmas breakfast this morning, minus Cameron. Long story but because of taking precaution for Robin's sake I was told he could not return to school till his test result came back. Whatever ! If it had been a normal school week I would had pitched a fit. It was strange not having him with me. Everything turned out fine.

Day two of chemo for Robin. I didn't make it by there today because of school but Elizabeth checked in with her & sent me some photos. Robin seem to be in good mood & carrying on some of her mess. My prayer is things will continue to go well & this new drug hold up to the hype of not being as bad with the effects. Tomorrow is last day. One month already down ! Please continue to keep her in your prayers. Love ya Robin !

Today was the day , the dreaded day ... Robin started her chemo. I did sneak by & see her. They had giving her some good feeling, knock out meds, so she was very groggy. She responded well & was doing good. She later called wondering if I had came by because if she was dreaming it was very vivid! LOL! I had her going for a little while that I hadn't came. Talked to her this evening & she sounded good. She goes again tomorrow , so please continue to keep her in your prayers. I left there very humbled. That place was completely full & as I looked around people from all ages in there getting their chemo & sitting there with hopes in tiny bags of medicine. Put things in perspective a lot & we really should have nothing to complain about !
