March is here & it makes me happy because .... the time changes & warm weather is coming & you know what that means .... boat time ! Counting down the days!!! Boat went to get serviced yesterday. Wishing this cold weather would go away! Not much exciting has gone on. We painted the whole front of our house this past week & boy was that a mess! Our walls were not done right when we built the house so a lot of patch work was done, which meant a lot of sanding & a mess to go along with it ! Took a week to get it done. LOVE the kitchen color & the rest of the house doesn't look much different maybe a tad darker.

Tyler we all knows suffers at this job! All kidding aside he works hard & has many nights away from us, but he does get nice perks that goes along with it . Wednesday he got to do something he has wanted to do for a long time. He was invited to go to the driving experience at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. I know he was a happy man & can picture him grinning the whole time. He had a good time & said it was so fun! 165 miles around the racetrack he went. Glad he was given the opportunity & thankful he made it back home.

Robin got thru her chemo fairly well this time around. I wasn't able to help out  because of some issues I had going on & both Tyler & myself have had really bad colds. She was so sick last time that I wasn't taking a chance! We've ran our mouths on the phone though :). Please continue to keep her in your prayers. After this month only 2 more treatments to go. 

On a funnier note... 2nd grade had grandparents day last month & I was subbing one day & texted by the teacher to make sure the students had their portraits of grandparents complete & make sure I check this one students & I would know which one it was .... & I knew immediately ....

I busted out laughing ! That's some funny stuff!!! I don't know if that G'ma showed up but I sure hope she was shown it. A child vision is so pure ! LOL !

Happy late Valentines Day! My day was busy for sure. Robin's chemo was put off a day because of further test , just to rule out some things & thank you Jesus, she was cleared & started back on the 14th. Valentines was busy, had things to do at school, took Ty & Sarah some hibachi take out, ice cream party with Cameron's class & dinner with Tyler & Cameron.

When we went to Mts. We stopped at Time Out in Chapel Hill. I honestly felt like I was doing something wrong being right in the heart of Chapel Hell, but let me tell you, this was THE BEST chicken & cheddar biscuit I have ever ate. It was soooo good & soooo fatting! 2 people could easily share but we ended up downing one each.

Last time the boys had half a day of school the weather was beautiful & Cameron & I set out to make an adventure out of walking the loop in Wrightsville beach. We had the best time! We went on all the little trails, stores, the pier & ended up going in the museum, which was really neat & interesting. I learned some things I never knew, like the train tracks were on the ocean side. It was small & didn't take long but glad we went in. The water now is so clear & you can see all the way down to the bottom, even at the middle of the bridge. It was beautiful ! Thankful that Cameron is always so easy going & will do anything with me, even exercise.

Saturday was a little exciting...We actually saw snow ! It was so pretty & big flakes & Cameron was so excited.  No accumulation but it sure was pretty coming down!

  Been awhile...I know! January has came & gone. Now February is here. A lot has gone on this past month.
   Robin celebrated her 50th birthday. She was not in a partying mood as she was to start her 2nd round of chemo a few days later. And this round was not as kind to her. She ended up being treated for the flu & just as she has just started to feel some what better, chemo starts again next week. #3. Half way done. Please continue to keep her your prayers, her liver enzymes have been elevated every time she's gone & if they have gone up again this time then treatment will have to stop. She been doing a lot of thing to flush & better the liver naturally so I'm hoping everything will check out good.

  Tyler's sister Ashley birthday is the day after Robins & the Poole siblings, Granny, kids & all headed to Myrtle Beach for the weekend. What a BEAUTIFUL weekend it was too. We swam & sat on the beach, ATE .... 70+ degrees, it was so nice, oh except for the fact that our room's AC didn't work for a whole day! We asked for a late check out & none of us wanted to leave! We had a good time!

  Next up lil Miss Sassy's 3rd birthday. 3 years has gone by fast. We didn't make it to her party, because too much was going on at home, but Ashley gave her a cute lil ART party & she had lots of lil friends there. All the friends were asked to bring some sort of Art supplies & the next day they sorted the donations & took them to some needy children. What a great idea! Can never start too early in teaching our children to give back. Good job Ashley!

      The 30th was Tyler's dad's birthday & Tyler was in Raleigh & went to dinner & spent time with him. Happy Birthday Dewey!

  A sad ending came to an end for the Poole family. The cottage in Oriental has been sold so we headed up on a Saturday to get some of our things. Didn't think we would get so emotional. Cameron & myself walked that beach for the last time & lots of memories flooded my mind. My babies ran that beach naked, watched them fish & lots of good times with friends. Cameron tuned up & said that was where he first learned to fish & if he ever made enough money, he would buy it back , LOL ! Ive walked that beach a many of hours looking for sea glass &  which now that I have in bowl as one of my treasures. It is for the best but the finality sure didn't make it easy. 

   The 31st we headed to Greensboro for dinner with a coworker of Tyler's & the headed to The Lupers mountain house in West Jefferson, NC. Anyone that knows me, knows I DO NOT like the mountains. EVERY TIME I've been I get sick & this time was no exception. I started with a headache but made it thru the first night but by the next morning well ... first I thought maybe I was just hungover but then it didn't get better & puking began & I was in the bed the whole day. Miserable. Doped my self up good for the ride home & by 6 Sunday was sick again & all day Monday. I don't know if I had a bug but after looking things up on the internet, there is such a thing called altitude sickness & can take 3 to 5 days to get over & I had all the symptoms. I talked with Tyler & there has never been a time I had not got sick , even when I was young going on ski trips, I got sick. So probably no mountains for me anymore. My lil Cameron has never been so, whoever would like to take him, please feel free. Beside from the puking, I  enjoyed my time & so blessed to have the friendships that we have. Thank you Allen & Jenny for the hospitality. Oh & it snowed & it was BEAUTIFUL! 

   So as you can see January has been busy. I subbed a lot that month & we are getting adjusted to Tyler's new traveling schedule, which has been a lot but that is how it is. Oh & Tyler's mom went to work for Baker Roofing as lead specialist & she is KILLING it ! Keep it it up Granny thats more trips for us to take ! Please continue to keep Robin in your prayers as well as Ty. Nothing serious with him, he just having some DRAMA & only he is gonna be able to figure it out . Makes this mommas heart hurt for him though! So until next time ....

Okay ... had people telling me they missed my blogging & asking why I quit so .... I will keep it up , just won't be everyday !

Nothing spectacular this week. Been too cold for me. I did FINALLY get to see sweet Mary Scott. She is beautiful & all I did was stare at her. Just truly a miracle , precious! I also got my taxes together & ready to be filed when W2 come.  Already one week down in the new year. Have a busy week this week, subbing some & then family trip to Myrtle Beach. Also someone is turning the BIG 5 0 !!!

I want her !

Happy New Year !

Well 2013 is here & I kept my promise to myself that I would blog EVERY day for a year. Today is that day & the last day. When I first started that first week , I thought to myself how am I going to come up with something everyday but then I found myself panicking to make sure I had Internet to be able to blog where ever I went. Makes me a little sad but then some of you might be glad. But here goes my New Years post ...

I cooked a traditional meal again, 3 years in a row! Had family & Tyler's co workers come up to eat lunch. They said it was good. Looking forward to another year. Seems like this year has flown by. Ready to get back to life.
