Ready !

We're packed up & ready to go. Won't leave til later this afternoon. Cameron wanted to stay home from school, but sent him right on! Keep checking back , cause I plan on still blogging while we are there. Got a new app Blogsy that lets me blog from my phone. Excited but like I said nervous too. More to come .....

Birds update

Well, sad to report, the momma bird abandoned the nest. The birds that were in there died , still 2 eggs left. I guess all that showering bothered her. On another note .... Lots going on with the Pooles next week. Tomorrow we leave for our trip & I am nervous & excited ! Nervous about leaving my oldest home & him not being with us! Makes me sad that he's not going. I know he will be in good hands but I still don't like the fact of him being without us & driving around too. This is a Big test for him & us ! I'm also nervous to fly ! I get so freaked out but I'm going to have to control it because it's Cameron's first time flying & I don't want to make him nervous too. Im excited to be going & can't wait to see Cameron's face when he is swimming with the dolphins ! Please keep us in your prayers for safe travels & that our flight is smooth or you might see on the news where a plane had to make emergency landing because of a disruptive passenger!

Baby Birds

This past Saturday two of the 5 eggs hatched. Cameron was so excited & the 2nd one was hatching when he looked. I have to say it was pretty neat & I've always seen baby birds , but not literally first born! They were about the size of a dime & pink, with a few feathers on top of their heads. Last night I went out there to check on them & the momma was in there but she was as flat as she could be, asleep & the back of her feathers were fanned out in the whole nest. Gonna check tonight & try to get a pic. Sunday I guess they are all hatched , its kinda hard to see & to take a pick but when you whistle at them they open there mouths. In the first pics of of them when they first hatched. That pink spot is them. have to take the pictures in the crack so they are not the best. Gonna try to take pics of them often. Internet says they should leave the nest in 14 days.

Garden

Cameron & myself went to Costco a few weeks back & they had big vegetable plants that were already showing the vegetables on them. We bought a jalapeno plant & a tomato plant. Well this past Saturday we picked off of them . One jalapeno & two tomato's. Cameron was so excited. He called me on the phone & said "mom I have good news & good news." I giggled & said" yeah ?" He said ,"yep got 2 tomato's to pick & 2 baby birds hatched !" So of course we had to share his good news ! He's so stinking cute & sweet !

 

 

 

Ty's Driving

This was the first time Ty drove by himself. I have to admit , I busted out crying so the pic you see of him laughing , well he's laughing at me. My stomach was in knots & I just couldn't help it. As he drove off down the road , there was a piece of me driving off down that road too. I just prayed that them Angles were guiding him down the road. Told him to call as soon as he got to school , because I would worry till I knew he was there. You think he did ? No ! Finally texted him & he said he forgot. He got home safe & sound but I swear I am nervous cat when ever he is out .

DMV

Took Ty to the DMV last Wednesday, reluctantly. We had some issues the day before over his birthday & I really didn't want to take him . Kids can be very hurtful sometimes. I slept on it & I took him under an agreement that he had to agree to. He didn't like it but I didn't really care. So off we went , with him kissing my butt the whole way! I kept thinking to my self he's not gonna pass anyway. He hadn't studied or prepared for anything. At least that's what I was hoping .... but he did . Not a written test or sign test, just a driving test, & no lie that was about 5 mins he was gone.  So he has his license now & they should be mailed with in the next couple of days. It makes me sick on my stomach to think he's out there on his own .

Easter

We had a good Easter this year. Went to church & then went & ate at my parents. Usually take alot more pics but alot of us were not here this year. They always moan & groan when  I do it anyway. Here's the pics I did take .

Cameron's Birthday

Getting caught up on blogging. Cameron turned 10 on April 5th. We had not planned to have a party, because his birthday gift this year, is a trip to Discovery Cove , Seaworld & Universal. We leave the 30th & are ready to get away for a few days. Anyway ... he was out for Spring Break during his birthday & he kept asking & then puddle up about having some friends over for a party, so at the last minute I gave in & let him have a party. This would be the last time I ate pizza or strawberry cake, because we all started puking about 1:30 am that night. I didnt even eat any for Tys birthday & my Mother n law had to finish the cake for me because I wanted to heave the whole time trying to finish it. Here's some pic of Cams party !

Birthday Party

Been a long day. We celebrated Ty's 16th Birthday tonight. I am thankful for my in laws. My mother n law helped me get things cooked & baked & my brother n law cooked about 150 chicken wings for us. He makes THE BEST chicken wings ! They were so yummy too & I ate till I almost hurt! I am thankful for times like these that we can share with our family. I will post more tomorrow & hopefully get some pics posted as well. Goodnight !

Took Ty to get his license this morning. Didn't have to wait & went right in. All he had to do was a driving test & that wasn't much of a test because he was back in about 5 mins. Well...he passed! I'll try to post some pics soon.

Happy 16th Birthday Ty

I have mixed emotions about today. First of all I'm not old enough to have a sixteen year old.:) I really can't believe he is sixteen ! It makes me sad & scared all at the same time. I can remember like yesterday in vivid detail when he was born! I was scared to death! I can honestly say it was love at first sight. The moment I laid eyes on him, I knew unconditoinal love that would never go away for him. That moment when you become a Mom is just something that will never, ever leave you. Although he was not planned, I can say he came at the perfect time & has brought us so much joy. He has taught me to be a mother & we have our moments, but he is a GREAT kid. Now I just have to get over my aniexty of letting my baby out on the road by his self. I am truly, truly scared for him & don't really know if he is mature enough yet for that resposniabilty. Please keep him/us in your prayers. Maybe its just the mother in me that natural worries. I hope so. He won't get his licsense till tomorrow & I have to admit , I would be a little relieved if he failed, but I know he would be devasted. I don't want to see him disappointed because I know this is a Big thing in his life right now.I thank the Lord for him & give thanks to have been so lucky have him as my son! I love him so much & don't know what I would do with out him. He really is my first love & blessed that he is mine !
