What a day ! Got a phone call from the school nurse letting me know Pertussis aka Whooping Cough is in Cameron's class & he has been exposed. The school nurse knew about Robin & wanted to let me know & went over some things. Because Cameron & Ty both have had hacking coughs since Thanksgiving , we decided to be treated & have them tested. So at 9:30 off we go to the Dr. The Dr. went over some things & thought because of the situation we all needed to be treated & that we needed to stay away from Robin 72 hours from our first dose. We had to go to the hospital to have the testing done. The boys said it was tickled & they were laughing & coughing. 7 days to get a result. I got my Dr. to call me in an antibiotic as well. It just really makes me upset not being able to be with my sister the rest of the week for chemo. Really makes me cry & pisses me off all at the same time. We just did this out of precaution for Robin but she can not be exposed to it at all & I wasn't gonna be spending Christmas with out my family. Robin goes to chemo in the morning . Please keep her in your prayers! It has been a rough 3 weeks ! Praying for another sweet family I know as well too !
