Discovery Cove

I think we would probably all agree the best part of the trip was when we went to Discovery Cove. It was an all inclusive resort & it truly looked like a island somewhere, yet we were in the middle of Orlando. We were waited on for all our needs & the staff was so friendly. When your booking your trip , you think geez this is expensive but once you get there, you understand why. We had great relaxing day. There were different parts of the park. There was a lazy river that was probably about a mile long with drop offs to 8 feet in it. James who doesn't swim & doesn't get in the water did this with us & we were so proud of him for making it all the way thru. I told him he could mark that off his bucket list & he told me it wasn't on it ! LOL! Next part was the dolphin pools & you could sit on the beach or on the rocks in the water to watch. You could sit on the beach all day & watch the dolphins. Another part was the coral reef where you could snorkel with the tropical fish, sting rays  & scuba . There also was an aviary where you could go & feed all kinds of birds. The birds really did fly & land on you & I didn't stay in there very long !  Here's the first set of pics .
